Set the Fingerprint Recognition Method (Touch or Press) auf Xiaomi
On Xiaomi phones with a fingerprint sensor built into the power button, MIUI lets you choose how the sensor should react while the screen is off. This setting only appears if your device uses a side-mounted sensor instead of an in-display or rear sensor.
Two recognition methods are available. Touch unlocks the phone as soon as your finger rests on the sensor, without any pressure. Press requires you to physically push the button down, similar to a click, before the fingerprint is checked.
Touch tends to unlock faster and works well if you rarely bump the power button by accident. Press reduces accidental unlocks in a pocket or bag, because the sensor only reads your finger once pressure is applied.
To change the method, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Passwords & security ➔ Tap on Fingerprint unlock ➔ Enter the current Pattern, PIN or Password ➔ Tap on Fingerprint recognition method ➔ Choose Touch or Press.
If the phone unlocks unexpectedly while carried in a pocket, switch to Press. If unlocking feels slow or unresponsive, switch back to Touch.
