Set a Custom Timer Ringtone auf Xiaomi
The timer in the Clock app plays a fixed default sound because MIUI treats the timer separately from your general notification and ringtone settings.
To change it, open Clock, tap the Menu icon, then go to Settings ➔ Timer ringtone. From there you can pick a pre-installed tone, a custom ringtone already saved on the phone, or browse to any .mp3 file stored in your file manager.
This setting only controls the timer sound. Alarms and general notifications each have their own separate sound setting elsewhere in the Clock app or system sound menu, so changing the timer tone will not affect those.
If the timer stays silent after you pick a new tone, check that the ringer is not set to Silent or Do Not Disturb. Both override the selected timer ringtone at playback time.
Large or long .mp3 files can add a short delay before playback starts. Shorter audio clips tend to trigger more reliably as timer alerts.
