Keyboard Usage Statistics Sharing Toggle auf Xiaomi
Xiaomi phones running MIUI send anonymized keyboard usage statistics to Google by default. This data covers typing patterns and word suggestions, and it helps improve autocorrect models across devices.
The setting sits inside the keyboard app itself, not in the general privacy menu, which is why most people never find it. Disabling it stops the data transfer immediately without affecting how the keyboard suggests words or corrects typos.
To change it, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Languages & input ➔ Manage keyboards ➔ Settings ➔ Advanced. From there, enable or disable Share usage statistics depending on your preference.
If the option is grayed out or missing, the keyboard app may need an update first. Some third-party keyboards installed as the default input method do not expose this toggle at all, since it only applies to the built-in MIUI keyboard.
