Share Wi-Fi Password via QR Code auf Xiaomi
Sharing a Wi-Fi password by voice or text message means someone has to type every character correctly, including case-sensitive letters and special symbols. On Xiaomi phones running MIUI, the Wi-Fi menu can turn the stored password into a QR code instead.
Open Settings ➔ Wi-Fi ➔ tap on the connected Wi-Fi network entry. MIUI displays the current password together with a QR code generated from the network name and key. Anyone can open their camera app, scan the code, and join automatically once the phone recognizes the Wi-Fi QR format.
This only works while your phone stays connected to that network, since the code is generated from the active connection details. If you disconnect or switch networks, the QR code option disappears from that screen until you reconnect.
The QR code shows the full password visually, so treat it the same way you would treat the text password. For public or guest networks, consider changing the password afterward if the code was displayed in a shared or public space.
