Turn Contact Sharing via Bluetooth On or Off auf Xiaomi
Bluetooth pairing alone does not transfer your phonebook to a car radio or headset. MIUI treats Contact sharing as a separate permission, so a paired connection can show as active while the device still has no access to your saved numbers for voice dialing or caller ID.
To check or change this, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Bluetooth ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Enable or disable Contact sharing. This option applies to the currently paired device and controls whether your contacts are sent to it.
When to enable it
Turn Contact sharing on if you want your car radio, smartwatch, or headset to show caller names and support voice-dialed calls. Without it, the connected device only handles audio, not contact data.
When to leave it off
If you connect to a rental car, a public speaker, or any device you do not fully trust, keep Contact sharing disabled. Once it is on, the paired device stores a copy of your contacts locally, and turning the option off later does not delete what was already transferred.
If contacts still do not appear after enabling this setting, unpair the device and pair it again so the phone resends the list under the new permission.
