Every Xiaomi phone stores its official certification data directly in the system, separate from the box or the user manual. This includes the exact model name, FCC ID, and other regulatory markings required for sale in different countries.
Where to find it
Open Settings ➔ About phone ➔ Certification. This screen lists the model name and FCC ID currently registered for your device, along with any additional regulatory logos that apply to your region.
When you need this data
Customs declarations, insurance claims, and carrier support tickets often ask for the FCC ID or exact model name rather than the marketing name printed on the retail box. Pulling it from this screen avoids typos and mismatched model numbers.
Good to know
The listed certifications depend on the region your unit was sold in, so two identical-looking phones bought in different countries can show different entries. A system update does not change this data, since it reflects the hardware certification, not the software version.
