Turn Camera Grid Lines On or Off auf Xiaomi
A tilted horizon or an off-center subject usually comes down to shooting without a framing guide. Xiaomi's camera app includes a grid overlay that splits the viewfinder into nine equal boxes, based on the classic rule-of-thirds layout used in photography.
With the grid visible, you get fixed reference lines for the horizon and for vertical edges like doorframes or buildings. This makes it much easier to notice a slight tilt before you take the shot, instead of discovering it afterwards when cropping.
To turn it on or off:
Tap on Camera ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Enable or disable Show gridlines
The setting applies system-wide across camera modes on your Xiaomi phone, so once enabled it shows up for photos and video recording alike. If you prefer a clean, distraction-free viewfinder, simply repeat the same steps and disable it again.
The grid is a framing aid only. It has no effect on image quality, resolution, or file size, and it never appears in the final saved photo or video.
