SMS Delivery Reports Setting auf Xiaomi
Xiaomi phones running MIUI include a hidden toggle that requests a status report from the network for every SMS you send. When it is on, the Messages app shows a small delivered marker under a text once the carrier confirms receipt on the other end.
This function lives inside the messaging app settings, not in the general system settings, which is why many people never find it. On dual SIM devices the toggle is set separately for each SIM card, so a report can be active on one line and disabled on the other.
To change it, follow this path: Tap on Messages ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM) ➔ Enable or disable Get SMS delivery reports.
Turning the setting on only works if the receiving network also supports status reports. Some carriers ignore the request entirely, so you may still see no confirmation even with the feature enabled. If you mainly use messaging apps that use internet-based delivery confirmations instead of SMS, leaving this off avoids extra notification clutter without losing any real functionality.
