Turn On/Off Sunlight Mode auf Xiaomi
Sunlight mode only shows up once automatic brightness is turned off on your Xiaomi phone. With auto brightness active, the system already adjusts the screen using the light sensor, so the manual Sunlight mode toggle stays hidden or greyed out.
To reach the setting, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Display ➔ Tap on Brightness level ➔ Enable or disable Sunlight mode. Once enabled, the display briefly pushes brightness above your manual slider value whenever the sensor detects strong ambient light, then returns to your set level once the light drops again.
This helps with readability outdoors, on a bright terrace, or near a window with direct sun. It does not replace automatic brightness for indoor use, since it only reacts to high light levels rather than adjusting continuously across all conditions.
Because the display draws more power at the boosted brightness level, expect slightly faster battery drain while Sunlight mode is actively kicking in. If you mainly need consistent brightness adjustments throughout the day rather than sun-specific boosts, automatic brightness is usually the better fit instead of running both features side by side.
