Set Swipe-from-Edge Action in Mi Browser auf Xiaomi
Mi Browser on Xiaomi phones uses the screen edges for quick navigation. By default, swiping from the left or right edge toward the center moves you back or forward one page, the same as tapping the browser's back button.
This is convenient for fast page navigation, but it can conflict with reading long articles or scrolling near the edge, where an accidental swipe suddenly changes the page you are on.
You can change what this gesture does inside the browser's own settings, separate from the system-wide gesture navigation in MIUI. The option lets you switch the gesture to tab switching instead, or turn it off entirely so edge swipes do nothing.
Where to change it
Open the path: Tap on Mi Browser ➔ Tap on Profile ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Swipe from edge ➔ Choose Go back/forward,Switch tabsor None.
Selecting Go back/forward keeps the default page navigation. Selecting Switch tabs turns the same edge swipe into a way to jump between open tabs without touching the tab bar. Selecting None disables the gesture completely, useful if you tend to trigger it by holding the phone near the edges.
This setting only affects Mi Browser. If pages still flip unexpectedly in other apps, check the general gesture navigation settings in MIUI instead, since those are configured separately.
