Xiaomi: Switch Between Tabs in Mi Browser

Comparing prices or articles across several websites gets confusing fast if you cannot jump between open pages in Mi Browser. On Xiaomi phones the tab overview is easy to miss, so people end up closing and reopening pages instead of switching between them directly.

Switch Between Browser Tabs auf Xiaomi

Mi Browser lets you keep several pages open at the same time, but the tab bar is hidden while you are reading a page. That is why switching between open tabs feels unclear at first, especially if you are used to a browser that always shows a visible tab strip.

On Xiaomi phones the tab switcher sits behind its own icon inside the browser interface. To move between open pages, tap Tap on Mi BrowserTap on TabsSwipe to browse the tabsChoose a Tab.

The tab overview shows every open page as a preview card. Swiping through these cards is faster than closing and reopening pages, especially when you are comparing prices, articles, or search results across multiple sites.

If you only ever use one tab, this menu is not relevant for you. It only matters once you regularly open links in new tabs or keep several pages active for reference.

Frequently asked questions

Some links are set to open in a new tab by default, which adds another card to the tab overview instead of reusing an open page. Check the tab overview via Tap on Mi BrowserTap on Tabs to see if the page you expected is already open there.
