Xiaomi: Adjust TalkBack Controls and Shortcuts

After turning on TalkBack, Xiaomi phones switch to a gesture-based navigation model. A single tap now selects an item and reads it aloud instead of opening it, which is why many users think the phone stopped responding to touch.

This behavior comes from the TalkBack engine inside MIUI accessibility settings, not from a system bug. You can fine-tune it through:

Inside Advanced settings you find four relevant controls. Single-tap activation lets you open an item with one tap instead of a tap plus double-tap, which speeds up navigation for users who do not need the extra confirmation step. Touch gestures let you remap swipe and multi-finger actions to specific TalkBack commands. Keyboard shortcuts only apply when a physical or Bluetooth keyboard is connected, and they let you trigger TalkBack actions without touching the screen at all. Custom labels let you rename unlabeled buttons or icons so TalkBack reads something meaningful instead of just Button or Icon.

Change one setting at a time and test it before adjusting the next, since combining several changes at once makes it hard to tell which one caused unexpected behavior.
