Change TalkBack Voice Output Settings auf Xiaomi
TalkBack uses the Android text-to-speech engine to read screen content aloud, and Xiaomi phones ship with default values for speaking rate and pitch that rarely match what a user actually needs.
These values live inside the Text-to-speech settings, a sub-menu inside TalkBack itself, separate from the general accessibility voice settings on the device.
Changing them only affects how TalkBack sounds, not the phone volume or the language used in other apps.
Open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Accessibility ➔ Vision ➔ TalkBack.
Inside TalkBack, tap Settings ➔ Text to speech settings.
Two sliders control the speech output: one for the speaking rate, one for the voice pitch.
Move the speaking rate slider left to slow TalkBack down, right to speed it up.
Move the pitch slider to make the voice sound lower or higher without changing how fast it talks.
Test each change right away, since TalkBack reads sample text or menu labels aloud as you move a slider.
If the voice still sounds off after these adjustments, check whether a different text-to-speech engine or language pack is active, since rate and pitch apply per selected engine.
Restarting TalkBack after larger changes helps if the new settings do not take effect immediately.
