Xiaomi: Turn Bluetooth On or Off in Settings

If a Bluetooth headset, speaker, or car kit will not pair with your Xiaomi phone, Bluetooth is often still switched off or was never fully enabled after a restart. The Quick Settings toggle can also drift out of sync with the actual radio state, which leaves paired devices unable to reconnect until you check the setting directly.

Turn Bluetooth On or Off auf Xiaomi

Bluetooth on a Xiaomi phone controls every wireless connection to headsets, speakers, smartwatches, and car systems. When pairing fails or a paired device does not reconnect, the radio is usually off or was toggled through the Quick Settings panel without fully activating in the system.

To check or change the state directly, go to Tap on SettingsTap on BluetoothEnable or disable Bluetooth. This screen also shows currently paired devices and lets you forget a device that keeps causing connection issues.

The Quick Settings shortcut works for fast toggling during the day, but it does not always reflect background scanning behavior. If a device refuses to reconnect after using the shortcut, opening the full Bluetooth settings page and toggling it there resolves most sync issues.

Turning Bluetooth off when you are not using any wireless accessory reduces background scanning and helps battery life slightly. Leaving it on all day is fine if you regularly use earbuds, a smartwatch, or Fast Share style transfers, since the radio itself draws very little power when idle.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Disabling Bluetooth through SettingsBluetooth immediately drops every active connection, including headsets and smartwatches. Devices reconnect automatically once you switch it back on, as long as they are in range and already paired.
