Turn Do Not Disturb On or Off auf Xiaomi
Do Not Disturb (DND) on Xiaomi phones is a system-level filter inside MIUI that silences ringtones, notification sounds, and vibrations at the same time. Calls still come in, but they get rejected automatically with a quick busy signal instead of ringing through.
The mode can be turned on manually whenever you need quiet, or by a schedule you set for sleep or meetings. If it stays active after the schedule ends, notifications keep failing silently until you switch it off yourself.
Where to find the Do Not Disturb setting
Open Settings ➔ Sound & vibration ➔ Do not disturb and use the toggle to Enable or disable Do not disturb. The same screen shows whether a schedule or an automatic rule turned it on, so you know if a single toggle is enough or if you also need to adjust the schedule.
If only certain apps stay silent while others still notify you, the cause is usually app-specific notification settings, not Do Not Disturb. In that case check the notification permissions for that one app instead of toggling the whole mode.
Turning Do Not Disturb off does not delete missed notifications; they normally reappear in the notification shade once the mode is disabled.
