Turn On/Off Lite Mode auf Xiaomi
Lite mode is a simplified interface built into MIUI. It enlarges app icons and text, reduces the number of visible elements on the home screen, and hides some secondary features to make the phone easier to navigate.
Some Xiaomi devices activate this mode automatically during setup or after a system update, which can make the home screen look different from what you are used to. It does not delete apps or data, it only changes how the interface is displayed and organized.
To turn Lite mode on or off, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Special features ➔ Tap on Lite mode ➔ Turn On/Off Lite mode.
If you only want bigger icons or text without the reduced feature set, adjust the display size or font size in the display settings instead of enabling Lite mode. That keeps the full home screen layout while still improving readability.
Turning Lite mode off restores the standard MIUI home screen, including all hidden widgets and shortcuts, without affecting installed apps or stored data.
