Turn On/Off Silent Mode auf Xiaomi
Silent mode on Xiaomi phones running MIUI mutes ringtones and notification sounds while keeping the display and calls fully functional. It is different from vibrate-only mode, where you still feel incoming calls and messages through vibration instead of hearing them.
You can switch it on or off from three places: the quick settings panel, the control center, or the dedicated sound settings. For a toggle that sticks and is easy to find again later, the settings menu is the most reliable route.
Open Settings ➔ Sound & vibration ➔ enable or disable Silent mode. This screen also lets you adjust ringtone volume and vibration patterns separately once Silent mode is off again.
From quick settings, swipe down twice from the top of the screen and tap the bell-shaped icon to cycle through sound, vibrate, and silent states. The control center offers the same toggle if you use gesture navigation instead of the classic notification shade.
Silent mode does not automatically mute alarms, so your alarm clock still rings unless you change that separately in the Clock app. If calls or messages stay silent even after you switch Silent mode off, check whether Do Not Disturb is still running, since both features can overlap and mask each other.
