Stay on Lock Screen After Face Unlock auf Xiaomi
After a successful face scan, MIUI decides on its own whether you stay on the lock screen or get pushed to the home screen. For many people the direct jump feels faster, but it also means missed calls, messages or widgets on the lock screen go unnoticed.
This behavior is controlled by one switch inside the Face unlock menu, separate from the fingerprint or pattern settings. To reach it, go to Settings ➔ Passwords & security ➔ Face unlock. Confirm your current PIN, pattern or password when asked, then find the toggle Stay on Lock screen after unlocking.
Turn it on if you want the phone to keep showing the lock screen after a successful scan, giving you time to check notifications before swiping in. Turn it off if you prefer face unlock to open the home screen immediately, which shaves off one extra step for quick access.
If face unlock does not trigger at all or reacts slowly, that is a separate camera or sensor issue and this toggle will not fix it. Check the face enrollment first before adjusting this setting.
