Unhide an Album in Gallery auf Xiaomi
When an album disappears from the main Gallery view on a Xiaomi phone, it usually was not deleted. MIUI Gallery lets you hide albums so they no longer show up in the default grid, but the content stays untouched until you decide to bring it back.
Hidden albums are moved into a separate section inside the Gallery settings. From there, each one can be unhidden individually, which means partially restoring your library is possible without unhiding everything at once.
To bring a hidden album back, open Tap on Gallery ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on View hidden albums. Select the album you want back, then confirm with Tap on Unhide ➔ Tap on OK.
Once confirmed, the album reappears in the normal Gallery view alongside your other albums. If several albums were hidden, repeat the selection step for each one you want restored - unhiding one album does not affect the others.
This function only works for albums hidden through the built-in Gallery hide feature. Files removed with a file manager or moved to a private folder through a different app are not affected by this setting.
