Turn On/Off USB Debugging auf Xiaomi
USB debugging gives a connected computer low-level access to your Xiaomi phone over a cable. Tools such as MyPhoneExplorer, ADB, or rooting utilities need this access to read contacts, push files, or flash system changes. Without it, the phone only shows up as a plain storage device, not as a debugging target.
The toggle is hidden inside Developer options, which stay invisible until you unlock them separately in the system settings. Once unlocked, you can reach the switch through:
Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Developer options ➔ toggle USB debugging ➔ confirm with OK
Some MIUI builds ask for a confirmation dialog every time you plug in a new computer. That is normal and protects against unauthorized access from unknown devices.
Turn USB debugging off again once the sync or flashing task is done, especially if the phone is used by other people or connects to public charging stations. Leaving it active is not dangerous on its own, but it does widen the attack surface if the phone gets connected to an untrusted PC.
