Set Up Speed Dial for Calls auf Xiaomi
Speed dial saves time when you regularly call the same number and do not want to search your contact list every time. On Xiaomi phones running MIUI, a contact assigned to a digit on the dial keypad can be called with a single long press, skipping the contact search entirely.
To use it, follow this path:
Open the Phone app ➔ Tap and hold the assigned number on the dial keypad ➔ Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM)
The last step only appears on Dual SIM devices when no default SIM for calls has been set. In that case, the phone asks which SIM card should place the call before dialing continues.
If nothing happens after the long press, no contact is currently linked to that digit, and the shortcut has no target to call.
Speed dial is best for numbers you dial daily, like a partner or a frequent work contact. For contacts you call less often, searching or using recent calls is usually faster than remembering a digit assignment.
