Turn On/Off Device Watermark on Photos auf Xiaomi
Xiaomi phones running MIUI add a small device watermark to the bottom left of every photo by default. It shows which model took the shot, which is useful for tracking but often unwanted when sharing images professionally or posting them online.
The watermark toggle sits inside the Camera app settings, not in the general system settings. Many users look for it in Settings ➔ Apps first and miss it because it is a camera-specific option.
Where to find the watermark setting
Follow this path: Tap on Camera ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Watermark ➔ Enable or disable Device watermark.
Once disabled, new photos save without the device tag. Existing photos already taken keep their watermark since it is baked into the image file.
If you want a custom watermark instead of removing it entirely, check whether your Camera app offers additional watermark styles under the same menu before turning the feature off completely.
