Clear Browsing Data in Chrome auf Android
Chrome saves browsing history, cached files, cookies and site data directly on your device so pages load faster on repeat visits. Over time this storage grows and can slow down page loading or take up noticeable space, especially on phones with limited storage.
Anyone with physical access to your phone can open Chrome and see which sites you visited, unless you clear this data regularly. Saved cookies also keep you signed into websites, which is convenient but risky if you share the device with someone else.
How to clear browsing data
Open Chrome and tap Open the menu. Go to Open the settings, then Tap on Privacy. Select Tap on Clear browsing data and confirm with Confirm with Clear data.
Clearing all data logs you out of most websites and resets saved form entries. If you only want a faster browser without losing your login sessions, clear the cache alone instead of the full history and cookies.
