Turn On/Off Data Warning auf Android
Android tracks mobile data usage per SIM and can alert you once a self-defined volume is reached. This only works if the Set data warning option is turned on and a realistic limit is entered.
Why the warning matters
Without a data warning, Android keeps counting usage silently. On plans without an unlimited flat rate, that means the first sign of trouble might be an invoice with extra charges for the overage.
Where to find the setting
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Network & internet ➔ Tap on SIMs ➔ Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM) ➔ Tap on Data warning & limit ➔ Enable or disable Set data warning.
On a dual-SIM phone, repeat this for each SIM separately, since usage and warnings are tracked per card.
When a hard limit fits better
The warning only notifies you; it does not stop data usage. If you need Android to cut mobile data automatically once a threshold is hit, look for the separate data limit option in the same menu instead of, or in addition to, the warning.
Side effects
Turning the warning off does not disable data tracking itself, only the alert. Usage statistics stay visible in the same settings screen regardless of the toggle.
