Show or Hide Lock Screen Pattern Trail auf Android
Android draws a thin connecting line as you trace the unlock pattern on the lock screen. That trail helps you learn the pattern at first, but it also lets anyone standing close enough catch the shape and repeat it later.
The setting behind this behavior lives in the screen lock options, separate from the pattern itself. Turning it off does not change the pattern, only whether the connecting lines appear while you draw.
To hide the trail, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Security & privacy ➔ Tap on Device unlock ➔ Tap on Screen lock settings ➔ Enable or disable Make pattern visible. Confirm your current pattern or PIN when the phone asks for it, then switch the toggle off.
Once disabled, the dots still light up briefly under your finger, but no line connects them. Anyone watching your screen sees isolated flashes instead of the full shape.
Switch it back on if you often miss dots or unlock in low light, since the visible trail makes correcting a wrong stroke easier. On shared or public settings, keeping the trail hidden is the safer default.
