Manage App Permissions auf Android
Android controls what each app can access through a permission system that stores your decision the first time an app requests camera, contacts, storage or location.
That decision stays active until you change it manually, which is why apps can keep reading data or checking your location long after you granted access once.
An app that drains battery in the background or reads contacts you never expected usually still holds a permission from an earlier install or update.
To review or change what a specific app can access, open Settings ➔ Apps ➔ See all apps, then tap the app you want to check.
On the app page, tap Permissions to see every category the app has requested, from storage to microphone.
Tap any permission and choose Allow, Allow only while using the app, Ask every time, or Don't allow.
Location and camera permissions usually offer the while-using-the-app option, which blocks background access without breaking core features.
Storage or contacts permissions are often all-or-nothing, so denying them can disable specific functions like importing photos or syncing contacts.
If an app stops working correctly after you restrict a permission, confirm the affected feature actually needs that permission before reverting the change.
