Press & Hold Shutter Button Setting auf Android
The Camera app lets you assign a single action to a long press on the shutter button. Depending on the phone, this defaults to either burst shoot, which fires off a rapid series of photos, or focus lock, which keeps the focus point fixed while you reframe the shot. If the wrong behavior is active, you either end up with dozens of unwanted burst images or lose the ability to lock focus on a moving subject.
This setting lives inside the Camera app itself, not in the general system settings, so it only affects how the shutter button behaves while the Camera app is open. Changing it does not touch other camera controls like zoom, flash, or shooting mode.
To change it, open Open Camera ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the settings ➔ Tap on Press & hold shutter button ➔ Choose an option. Pick burst shoot if you want continuous shots from a long press, or focus lock if you need the camera to hold focus while you move the phone.
If burst shoot is producing too many near-duplicate photos, focus lock is usually the better default for portraits and still subjects. Burst shoot works better for fast action, kids, or pets where timing the exact shot is difficult.
