Rename a Paired Bluetooth Device auf Android
When a Bluetooth accessory pairs with an Android phone, the system stores a local name for that connection together with the technical device data. This name is what shows up in the paired-devices list and in connection notifications, but it has no effect on how the accessory itself works.
The default label shown right after pairing usually comes straight from the manufacturer, which turns into a real problem once several similar accessories are connected. Two earbuds or three smart speakers carrying the same generic name look identical in the list, so it becomes easy to reconnect the wrong one.
To fix this, open Settings ➔ Connected devices, then tap the settings icon next to the saved device you want to rename. Tap Edit, enter a new name, and confirm with Rename. The change only updates the label stored on this phone; it does not rename the device for any other paired phone or tablet.
If the device is missing from the list entirely instead of just showing the wrong name, the actual issue is a lost pairing rather than a naming problem. In that case, removing the device and pairing it again is the better fix.
