Set Date Manually auf Android
Android normally pulls the current date from the mobile network or a connected Wi-Fi time server. This keeps timestamps in messages, calls, and apps consistent across devices, but it also locks the manual Date field as long as the sync stays active.
To set a custom date, disable automatic time first. Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on System ➔ Tap on Date & time ➔ Turn off Set time automatically. Once this toggle is off, the Date option becomes editable.
Tap Tap on Date, pick the day, month, and year you need, then confirm with Set the Dateand tap on OK. The new date applies immediately across the system.
When to leave automatic sync on
If your device already shows the correct date, keep automatic sync enabled. Turning it off means the date no longer updates after time zone changes, daylight saving shifts, or travel, and you have to adjust it manually each time.
A wrong manual date can also break app logins, certificate checks, and calendar sync, so switch automatic time back on once you no longer need a custom date.
