Swipe Fingerprint for Notifications auf Android
Android includes a gesture that lets you open or close the notification shade by swiping down on the fingerprint sensor, instead of pulling down the status bar with your finger. This is handled by the Gestures section in the system settings, and it can be switched on or off independently of other fingerprint functions like unlocking the phone.
If the gesture stops working, it usually means the toggle got reset during a software update or after a factory reset. Some phones also disable this setting automatically if the fingerprint sensor is recalibrated or if a new fingerprint profile is added.
To turn it on or off, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on System ➔ Tap on Gestures ➔ Tap on Swipe fingerprint for notifications ➔ Enable or disable Swipe fingerprint for notifications.
Turning this off makes sense if you often trigger it by accident while holding the phone, since an unwanted swipe can open notifications while you are typing or scrolling. Keeping it on is useful for one-handed use, especially on larger phones where the status bar is hard to reach.
This setting only affects the notification shade gesture. It does not change how fingerprint unlock works, so disabling it will not affect how you unlock the phone.
