Turn On/Off Touch Vibration (Notifications & Focus) auf Android
Touch feedback vibration is a short haptic pulse triggered by taps on the keyboard, buttons and some UI elements. It runs independently from ringtone and notification vibration, which is why muting your phone does not always stop the buzzing while typing.
This behavior is controlled by the Touch feedback toggle inside the vibration settings. Android groups it together with other haptic options, so disabling it does not affect vibration for calls or alerts.
To turn it off, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Sound & vibration ➔ Tap on Vibration & haptics ➔ Enable or disable Touch feedback. Switching this off removes the buzz from typing, dialing and most system buttons.
If the keyboard still vibrates after this, the keyboard app likely has its own haptic setting that overrides the system toggle. In that case, check the keyboard app sound and vibration settings separately.
Turning off touch feedback has no effect on call, alarm or notification vibration, so you do not lose those alerts. It mainly reduces sensory feedback during typing and light background battery use from constant small pulses.
Leave touch feedback on if you rely on haptic confirmation for accessibility reasons, since it helps confirm that a tap registered on the screen.
