Enable Gridlines in Camera auf Android
The grid overlay in Open Camera gives you a fixed reference for straightening horizons and placing subjects along the rule of thirds. It only draws lines on the live preview; it is never baked into the saved photo, so turning it off later has no effect on pictures you already took.
The toggle lives inside the app's own settings menu, not in a general Android camera setting. Open Open Camera ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the settings ➔ Activate or deactivate Show gridlines to switch the overlay on or off.
Keep the grid enabled for landscapes, architecture, or any shot where a straight horizon matters. Switch it off again through the same path if the lines feel distracting for close-up or macro shots, where precise framing against a grid is less useful.
The setting stays tied to the app on your device and does not depend on account sync, so it will not reset just because you updated the app.
