Change Home Screen Wallpaper auf Android
Android keeps the wallpaper for the lock screen and the home screen as two separate settings, even though both live under the same menu. If you only tap through the preview once and confirm at the last screen, the photo often ends up on the lock screen alone, leaving the home screen unchanged.
The relevant system function is the Wallpaper & style hub. It offers ready-made categories such as landscapes, structures, geometric shapes, art, and earth, plus the option to use your own photos through My photos.
To apply a change specifically to the home screen: Settings ➔ Wallpaper & style ➔ More wallpapers ➔ pick a category or tap My photos ➔ choose a photo ➔ adjust the crop and tap Set wallpaper ➔ Home screen.
If icon colors or widget accents shift after the change, check whether a color-matching option inside the theme settings is active. It pulls an accent color from the new wallpaper and applies it system-wide, which is expected behavior rather than a bug.
For animated or interactive backgrounds, look for live wallpapers inside the same More wallpapers screen instead of the static photo categories.
