Some devices also cap the refresh rate or restrict location services.

The result is a noticeable drop in responsiveness paired with a significantly extended battery life, often by several hours.

Unlike adaptive battery features, which learn usage patterns over time to optimize behavior, Power Saving Mode intervenes immediately and broadly across system performance. It's a short-term, reactive measure, while adaptive systems work continuously in the background.
