Enable or Disable VoLTE Calls auf Huawei
Huawei phones default to the 2G or 3G network for voice calls unless VoLTE (Voice over LTE) is turned on. With VoLTE active, calls run over the 4G network instead, which usually means clearer audio, a faster connection when dialing, and less strain on the battery during a call.
To check or change this setting on EMUI, open Settings ➔ Mobile network ➔ Mobile data ➔ Enable or disable VoLTE calls. Toggling this switch on turns VoLTE calls on; toggling it off returns voice calls to the standard 2G/3G fallback.
VoLTE availability depends on your carrier and SIM plan, not just the phone setting. If the toggle is greyed out or missing, your network operator has not enabled VoLTE support for your account yet.
Turning VoLTE off can help in areas with poor 4G coverage, since the phone will fall back to 2G/3G more reliably for voice. Leave it on in areas with stable 4G signal to get the quality and speed benefits.
