Enable or Disable Colour Correction auf OnePlus
Colour correction on OnePlus phones adjusts how the display renders reds, greens and blues so people with colour vision deficiency can distinguish on-screen elements more reliably. The feature does not change the actual colour data of photos or videos, only how OxygenOS renders them on the screen.
Three correction modes are available, each targeting a different type of colour blindness: Deuteranomaly (reduced sensitivity to green), Protanomaly (reduced sensitivity to red) and Tritanomaly (reduced sensitivity to blue). Picking the wrong mode can make colours look more washed out rather than clearer, so it helps to try each one briefly before settling on it.
To turn the feature on or pick a mode: Open the Settings ➔ Tap on System ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Color correction ➔ Enable or disable Use color correction ➔ Tap on Correction mode ➔ Choose Deuteranomaly, Protanomaly or Tritanomaly.
Colour correction works system-wide, including in apps, the camera preview and gallery thumbnails. If colours still look off after enabling it, switching to a different correction mode usually fixes the mismatch faster than turning the feature off and on again.
