Add a Contact Photo auf Oppo
On Oppo phones running Coloros, contact photos are not added automatically. Unless you assign an image yourself, the Contacts app only displays a colored circle with initials for every call, message thread and notification.
This makes it harder to recognize who is calling or texting at a glance, especially in long contact lists with similar names. Adding a photo fixes this by linking either a new camera shot or an existing gallery picture directly to that contact entry.
Where to add the photo
Open Tap on Contacts ➔ Choose a Contact ➔ Tap on Edit contact ➔ Tap on Add photo. From there you can pick Tap on Take photo to shoot a new image, or Choose photo to select one already stored on the device.
After selecting an image, use Choose a Photo and then Adjust the Photo to crop it to fit the circular contact icon, then confirm with and tap Done. Finish by tapping Tap on Save so the picture stays linked to that contact.
If the photo does not appear afterward in calls or messages, double-check that the edit was saved and not cancelled before reaching the save step. A missing storage permission for the Contacts app can also prevent the gallery picker from opening.
