Add Contact to Home Screen auf Oppo
On ColorOS, opening a contact usually means launching the Phone app, tapping Contacts, and scrolling or searching for the right name. For people you call or message daily, that extra navigation adds up over time.
ColorOS lets you skip the app entirely by placing a direct shortcut on the home screen. The shortcut opens straight to that contact's detail page, where you can call, message, or check stored numbers without passing through the main Contacts list first.
To create it: Tap on Contacts ➔ Choose a Contact ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Add to Home screen ➔ Tap on Add. The icon lands on an empty spot on your home screen, using the contact's saved photo or initials.
This setup works best for a handful of key contacts - close family, work, or regular clients. Adding shortcuts for dozens of contacts clutters the screen fast, so grouping frequent numbers in a widget or using speed dial from the Phone app is a better fit for larger lists.
Removing the shortcut later does not delete the contact itself. It only removes the icon from the home screen, the same way uninstalling an app shortcut works.
