Adjust Screen Brightness (Manual & Automatic) auf Oppo
Screen brightness on an Oppo phone can behave oddly when the light sensor near the front camera gets covered by a case, a screen protector, or your fingers while holding the device. This makes auto-brightness misjudge the room and either dim the display too far or push it uncomfortably bright.
The quick toggle in the notification shade only offers a coarse slider. The full control sits inside the display settings, where you can fine-tune the level or switch off automatic adjustment entirely.
To set it manually, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Display & brightness ➔ Swipe left or right to adjust the brightness. Sliding right raises the level, sliding left lowers it, and the change applies immediately across the home screen and every app.
Manual brightness is the better choice in fixed lighting, such as a desk lamp at night or a bright office with constant overhead light. Automatic mode works better outdoors or when you move between rooms often, since it reacts to ambient light on its own.
Running the screen at a high manual brightness for long periods increases battery drain noticeably faster than letting the automatic sensor manage it.
