Oppo: Turn On Auto Answer for Calls

If you rely on a Bluetooth headset while driving or working, missed calls because you could not reach the display in time are a common frustration on Oppo phones. Auto answer lets the phone pick up incoming calls on its own once a headset or headphones are connected. You can also set a short delay before the call gets accepted, so it does not pick up too abruptly.

Enable Auto Answer for Incoming Calls auf Oppo

Auto answer on Oppo phones works together with connected Bluetooth headsets or wired headphones. Once enabled, the phone accepts incoming calls without you touching the screen. This is useful while driving, cycling, or working with your hands occupied, but it also means calls get picked up even if you are not ready to talk right away.

That is why Oppo lets you set a delay in seconds before the call is answered automatically. A short delay gives you a moment to check the caller and decide whether to answer manually instead.

Where to find Auto answer

Open PhoneOpen the MenuTap on SettingsTap on Calling accountsTap on Auto answer. From there you can Enable or disable Auto answer and Set the Delay for how long the phone waits before accepting a call.

If you do not use a headset regularly, leave the feature disabled. Without a connected Bluetooth device, calls still require a manual tap even when Auto answer is turned on.

Frequently asked questions

No. Auto answer only accepts calls automatically while a Bluetooth headset or connected headphones are active. Without a paired device, you still need to tap to answer calls manually.
