Auto Switch to Ear Receiver Setting auf Oppo
Auto switch to ear receiver is a motion control built into Coloros. It relies on the proximity sensor near the front camera to detect when you move the phone toward your ear during an active call.
When the feature is on, an active call playing through the speaker or a connected earphone switches back to the built-in earpiece the moment the sensor registers that movement. This is convenient for quick calls but can cause problems if the sensor gets triggered by accident, for example when the phone rests near your face on a desk or in a bag.
If calls keep switching to the earpiece when you want to stay on speaker, or the phone never switches even though you lift it, checking this setting is the fastest fix.
Where to find it
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Convenience tools ➔ Tap on Gestures & motions ➔ Enable or disable Auto switch to ear receiver.
Turn it off if you rely on speaker or Bluetooth audio during calls and dislike unexpected switching. Turn it on if you want hands-free-to-earpiece switching without touching the screen.
