Turn Automatic App Updates On or Off auf Oppo
Automatic app updates on Oppo phones running Coloros are managed by the Google Play Store, not by the system settings themselves. Once enabled, the Play Store checks for new versions of installed apps in the background and installs them without asking each time.
By default, this usually happens only over WLAN to avoid using up mobile data. If you switch the setting to update over any network, apps can also update using mobile data, which is useful when you rarely connect to WLAN but can increase your data usage noticeably.
To change the behavior, open Tap on Play Store ➔ Tap on Google account ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Network preferences ➔ Tap on Auto-update apps ➔ Choose an Option and tap Done. Three options are available: updates over any network, updates over WLAN only, or no automatic updates at all.
Turning updates off completely gives you full control over when apps change, which helps if a specific update caused problems before. The downside is that you have to update apps manually, and you may miss important security fixes if you forget to check regularly.
