Block or Unblock a Contact auf Oppo
Blocking a contact on an Oppo phone silences both calls and text messages from that number, but it does not remove the contact from your address book. The setting lives inside the Contacts app itself, which is why many people search for a separate blocklist without finding one.
To block someone, open Contacts ➔ Choose a Contact ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Block numbers ➔ Tap on Block. Once confirmed, calls from that number go straight to a rejected state and text messages no longer trigger notifications.
Unblocking works the same way. Go back through the same menu, find the number in your blocked list, and remove the block to restore calls and messages immediately.
This function only affects the native phone and messaging apps that come with ColorOS. It has no effect on third-party messengers like WhatsApp or Telegram, since those apps run their own blocking systems separately from the Android dialer.
If someone keeps reaching you through a chat app after being blocked in Contacts, you need to block them inside that specific app as well.
