Camera Shutter Sound: Turn On or Off auf Oppo
The camera shutter sound on Oppo phones is a dedicated setting inside the camera app, not part of the general system sound profile. That is why muting your phone with the volume rocker or a silent mode does not always turn off the shutter click on its own.
Oppo added this separate control so you can keep notification and ringtone sounds active while still taking silent photos in public. The setting lives in the camera app's own settings menu, independent from the phone-wide sound settings found under Settings.
To switch it off: open Tap on Camera ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Enable or disable Shutter sound. Toggling this off stops the click for photos taken with the main shutter button, including most standard photo modes.
If your phone still makes a sound when focusing or scanning a QR code, that click usually comes from a different function, such as autofocus confirmation, and is not controlled by the same toggle. In that case check whether a separate focus sound option exists in the same camera settings menu.
Turning off the shutter sound has no effect on video recording tones, screenshot sounds, or system notification sounds. Those are controlled elsewhere in your phone's general sound settings.
