Change Device Name auf Oppo
Every Oppo phone stores a device name in the system settings. By default this name matches the model, for example Oppo Reno 2 or Oppo A94. That label is not just cosmetic.
Apps and connections read this exact field. Bluetooth pairing screens, Wi-Fi Direct transfers, network file sharing, and even some smart home apps display it when they list your phone. If several Oppo devices exist in the same household, the identical default name makes it impossible to tell them apart at a glance.
Renaming the device solves this. Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on About phone ➔ Tap on Device name, then Enter a Name and tap on Save. The new name applies immediately across Bluetooth, Wi-Fi sharing, and any other feature that reads this system value.
This setting exists on Coloros regardless of the exact version installed, so the steps stay the same across most Oppo phones. If a name change does not appear where expected, restart the affected app (for example the Bluetooth settings screen) so it reloads the updated label.
