Click when pointer stops is an accessibility feature built for people who use an external mouse with an Oppo phone but struggle to press the physical mouse button. Instead of clicking manually, the phone registers a click automatically once the pointer stays still for a set amount of time.
This is useful for users with limited hand mobility, but it becomes annoying once a normal mouse is connected. Every short pause, for example while reading a menu or typing, can trigger an unwanted tap, open an app, or select the wrong item.
Where to find the setting
Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Click when pointer stops. From here you can Enable or disable Click when pointer stops directly.
If you still want automatic clicks but find them too aggressive, use Set the Dwell timing to increase the delay before a click is triggered. A longer dwell time gives you more room to move the pointer without accidentally clicking.
Turn the feature off completely if you are using a standard mouse with a working button, since manual clicking is more precise and avoids random taps in apps, forms, or games.
