Turn Data Saving On or Off auf Oppo
Data Saving mode on Oppo phones blocks mobile data access for apps running in the background. This stops automatic syncing, delays push notifications, and can prevent updates from loading until you open the app again.
Apps you are actively using are not fully exempt either. Some foreground features, like image previews or auto-playing videos, can still load slower or get blocked depending on how the app handles background requests.
The setting lives in the mobile data section of the system settings, not in a dedicated battery or performance menu. To open it, go to Settings ➔ SIM card & mobile data ➔ Data usage ➔ Data saving.
From there, use the toggle to enable or disable the mode. If it is currently off, tap Turn on to activate it immediately.
Turn Data Saving off if you rely on real-time notifications from messaging or email apps, or if you are on an unlimited mobile data plan and do not need the restriction. Keep it on when traveling, when your plan has a strict data cap, or when battery drain from background activity is a bigger concern than instant updates.
