Set Monthly Data Usage Warning auf Oppo

If the monthly data warning on your Oppo phone never appears, the mobile data limit is usually still switched off. The alert is tied directly to that limit and only fires once your usage crosses the value you enter.

Open Settings ➔ SIM card & mobile data ➔ Data usage ➔ Mobile data limit. Here you turn on Set monthly data alerts. Once enabled, tap Data alerts, set your Monthly data alert value and confirm with Save.

Why the warning only fires once

ColorOS treats this as a single notification, not a recurring counter. After it triggers, it wont show again until the next billing cycle resets or you adjust the value.

This option is only available from ColorOS 7 (Android 10) onward. On older ColorOS versions, the setting is missing entirely, so no amount of digging in the menu will reveal it.

Setting the alert does not restrict your data. If you need Oppo to actually cut off mobile data after a limit, that is a separate switch inside the same Mobile data limit screen.
