Default USB Configuration Settings auf Oppo
Every time you plug your Oppo phone into a computer, ColorOS shows a notification asking how to use the USB connection. By default it usually opens in charging-only mode, and you have to tap the notification to switch to file transfer. If you copy photos or videos often, this extra step gets annoying fast.
This behavior is controlled by a hidden option inside the developer options, not the regular USB settings you see in everyday menus. Setting a fixed default value skips the notification and connects your phone directly in the mode you pick.
To find the option, tap Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Developer options ➔ Default USB configuration ➔ Choose an Option. Available modes typically include charging only, file transfer, and USB tethering, depending on your ColorOS version.
If developer options are not visible yet, unlock them first by opening Settings ➔ About phone and tapping the build number several times until a confirmation message appears.
Changing this default only affects new USB connections going forward. It does not change how already connected accessories, like USB-C headphones or OTG drives, behave.
