Delete an SMS Conversation auf Oppo
The Messages app on Oppo devices running ColorOS stores every text thread as a single conversation, not as individual messages you have to clear out one at a time. Tapping into a conversation only lets you manage the messages inside it, which is why deleting a whole thread that way feels slow.
The faster route uses the conversation list itself. Open Messages, then press and hold the conversation you want to remove instead of tapping it open. This brings up a delete option tied to the entire thread.
Select Delete and confirm with Delete again on the prompt that follows. The whole conversation, including every message inside it, disappears immediately and cannot be recovered from within the app.
This long-press method only removes the conversation from your device. It does not block the sender or stop new messages from that number from arriving and starting a fresh thread later.
If you only want to hide a conversation temporarily without losing it, archiving is the better option instead of deleting it outright.
